The Board of Finance has voted to reinstate the Town's loose leaf pick-up program...Discussion on TRUMBULLchat.
Trumbull Community Women recently elected officers for the 2008-2009 club year. Donna Monks and Laurie Rongey will serve as co-presidents. Kathy Hopper will serve as first vice president, Gail Leonzi is second vice president, Laura Ponzio is the treasurer and Yolando Soto will serve as secretary. The club's next meeting will be Tuesday, September 2nd at 7:00 pm at the Trumbull Library on Quality Street. Guests are welcome to attend. The 30th annual Trumbull Arts Festival will take place on Sunday, September 14th from 10:00am to 4:00pm on the Town Hall Green. There will be over 65 juried fine artists and crafters, international foods, a children's creative center and music by the "Ash Creek String Band" and "The Wayne Hiller Octet". Free Admission. Trumbull Vehicle Park Stickers which permit use of Town parks are available for pick-up by Trumbull residents in the Town Hall Annex (5892 Main Street) Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motor vehicle registrations must be presented at time of sticker issuance to prove Trumbull residence.

The stickers are valid for a two-year period ending June 30, 2010, and are issued for use on private passenger, combination, and camper plate vehicles. Use of swimming areas will continue to require display of a driver's license identification with a Trumbull address. Contact the Recreation Department at 452-5060 with any questions, and to ask about obtaining park stickers for child-care providers and guests, and permits for use of local parks for picnics.
